More and more people are getting into natural remedies (YAY!!) and we received many questions about what is the best method of use.
Well it is so very personal. Here some infos to hep you decide.
There are four main ways to absorb Cannabis: Inhalation, Ingestion, Topically, Sub
INHALATION: smoking or vaporizing.
It is good for “beginners, helps with nausea, pain, those who may have drug to drag interaction ( it is not metabolized in your liver)
Effectiveness 1 to 5 minutes - Duration 8 to 12 hours
INGESTION: oral administration, oil based, edibles
Good for long term pain relief, sleeping, those who want to avoid smoking, Start with low doses.
Effectiveness 30 to 90 minutes - Duration 8 to 12 hours
TOPICAL: salves, lotions
Good for pain and inflammation relief on the site.
Effectiveness 5 to 10 minutes - Duration 2 to 4 hours
SUB-LINGUAL: alcohol based tinctures, lozenges etc..
Oil based products even if placed under tongue absorb at slower rate.
Effectiveness 3 to 60 minutes - Duration 1 to 3 hours
Personally, topical is my most favorite. I also use often the oil based tinctures.
